Like it or not, your sibling is always going to be a part of your life! Our favourite Bollywood celebrities have the exact same equation with their siblings! From the Kapoor sisters with their oh so adorable nicknames (Lolo and Bebo,) to the Khan siblings (Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan,) here are some B Town siblings who give us major sibling goals!
1. Lolo and Bebo
Honestly, if you do not know who Lolo and Bebo are, then you have been living under a rock all your life. Kareena Kapoor (Khan) and Karishma Kapoor quite literally gave a new meaning to the term sibling goals. From wearing matching outfits (yes, even now,) to holidaying together and to making their kids were similar clothes, these Kapoor’s have really given everyone around feels in all the right places!
2. Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor
Confession time: I love these siblings. Their Instagram posts are always filled with each other’s posts. While Rhea Kapoor promotes Sonam Kapoor’s style statements and film tales, Sonam Kapoor keeps posting adorable throwbacks of her and Rhea. Taking their relationship to another level, these two have launched a fashion label together called Rheason. How cute is that? With one sister killing it on screen and the other acing her behind the camera game, the power factor with these siblings is definitely at an all time high!
3. Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan
Despite coming from the royal Pataudi family, Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan share as strong a sibling bond as you do with your brother or sister. The duo miss no opportunity to mock each other. For instance, when Soha was promoting her book, Saif gave an anecdote of one of Soha’s really bad dates. However, despite all the fun and games, the siblings have never missed showing the world how much they love each other.
4. Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar
Perhaps one of the reasons Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar are so close is because of the massive shoes they are both expected to fill. Children of Javed Akhtar, an extremely celebrated Bollywood screenwriter and lyricist, the two siblings have always worked to prove their goals were the same. Despite working as directors in the same industry, neither has crossed paths with the kind of work they do. Ensuring they learn from each other every step of the way, the Akhtar siblings have always shown that blood is thicker than ambition. If I had a brother like this, I would certainly be on cloud nine! Wouldn’t you?
5. Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt
Another power sibling, Alia Bhatt is working her magic on the silver screen, while Shaheen Bhatt is making a massive splash with her brilliant directing skills. Despite each doing really well in their own right, the Bhatt sisters have always got each other’s back. For instance, when Shaheen spoke about suffering with depression, Alia Bhatt instantly responded with an extremely heartfelt video. In the video, Alia said, no matter what, her sister is the strongest woman she knows. With these two being so cute and together, sibling goals are but inevitable, right?
Like it or not, you just cannot live without your siblings, right? What are some of your favourite sibling stories? Comment and let us know!
Actresses Who Pulled Off No Makeup Looks Flawlessly
In recent times, especially since Alicia Keys made it public that makeup free looks are the best thing ever, there has been a new trend. Not just Hollywood actresses, but mainstream Bollywood actresses are also killing the no makeup looks really well! From Kareena Kapoor to Alia Bhatt, here is our list of actresses who slayed the natural looks.
1. Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Usually known for sporting bright shades and loud lipsticks, Priyanka Chopra Jonas owned the stage at the Cannes Festival this year. However, on her off days, PeeCee is at her natural best and flaunts her bare lips with a bright smile. After all, it’s nice to bring the inner beauty out sometimes, right?
2. Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt is every makeup artist’s favourite canvas, giving them the opportunity to experiment with colours, shades and tones. This is only when she has her work mode on. On her off days, Alia Bhatt is her true self sporting only her glowing face and a swach of lip balm. If only all of us could be as lucky as to be blessed with such good skin!
3. Anushka Sharma
Anushka Sharma is one of those few actresses who believes that less is more. No matter what event she attends, the actress is always seen with as little makeup as possible. In fact, it is quite rare to see her sport loud colours and shades, making everyone just a little jealous of her natural beauty. Including me.
4. Sonam Kapoor
The ultimate Bollywood style icon, Sonam Kapoor is known for her fashion sense more than the way she wears her makeup. Even when she goes out without makeup, she hides the fact with oversized shades and is always dressed to kill. Sonam is one of those rare few actresses who likes flaunting clear skin both while working and on her off days!
5. Kareena Kapoor
When you are born with a glowing face, sparkling eyes and flawless hair, why not flaunt it all the time? Kareena Kapoor Khan on her no makeup days sets everyone’s natural look goals. Be it holidaying with Saif Ali Khan, or taking Taimur out into town, Kareena Kapoor is the ultimate style queen.

India’s Most Wanted Movie Review
Director: Raj Kumar Gupta
Cast: Arjun Kapoor, Prashanth P. Alexandrr, Rajesh Sharma, Shantilal Mukherjee, Asif Khan and Gaurav Mishra
A Raj Kumar Gupta directorial, India’s Most Wanted shows how 5 officers led by Prabhat (Arjun Kapoor) track down India’s most wanted terrorist, Yasin Bhatkal. Without using weapons, guns or any kind of monetary support, the team of officers track and bring to justice India’s most wanted terrorist.
Inspired by true life events, India’s Most Wanted tells the story of how officers not only nab Yasin Bhatkal, a terrorist and the founder of the Indian Mujahideen. This movie showcases the hunt for Bhatkal renamed Yusuf, and also depicts the massive gaps with the way Indian law enforcement agencies deal with crime. The movie opens to a group of five officers who get a tip off about the whereabouts of Yusuf and they swear to bring him to justice in under four days.
Unlike other crime thrillers, this movie shows the officers as five ordinary men with no fancy frills or over the top gadgets. However, while the story is solid as it goes, the movie lacks the tension and drama one would expect. The underplaying of the officers seems to go against the plot and not work with it, making the movie seems slightly long and winded.
However, while the obvious tension is missing from the film, the fact that all the officers live with the fear of death at the hands of Yusuf keep you hooked. Filled with songs and different scenes of worried characters, the movie builds up to a nail biting climax.
What works for this movie is the way Raj Kumar Gupta uses a cast which perfectly portrays the ordinary life of the officers. Prabhat (Arjun Kapoor) plays the role of the leader who takes it upon himself to capture Yusuf.
All in all, the well rounded way the actors and director Raj Kumar Gupta, work makes the film a good watch. Telling the story of unsung heroes and silent officers who make India safe, India’s Most Wanted, tells a story which needs to be heard.
PM Narendra Modi Biopic Review
Director: Omung Kumar
Cast: Vivek Oberoi, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Anjan Srivastav, Darshan Kumar, Zarina Wahab, Rajendra Gupta, Boman Irani
Just like the name of the biopic suggests, PM Narendra Modi is based on the life of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Chronicling the beginning of his life as a tea seller at a railway station, the movie maps the political journey of the Prime Minister. The biopic climaxes at the point where Mr. Narendra Modi swears in as the Prime Minister of India in the year 2014!
Despite the release of PM Narendra Modi being delayed by the Election Commission of India (EC) till after the Lok Sabha elections, the release is nothing short of a victory parade. Since the beginning of the movie, the makers have made sure they pay tribute to PM Modi in every way possible.
Every frame is a tribute to the rise of man who was once a tea seller at a railway station who rose to first become a RSS member and then the Prime Minister of the Country. For those who love the man unconditionally, this biopic is a reaffirmation of their faith but, for those who like to watch biopics with a solid dose of reality, will question the finer points.
While Modi is shown in almost god like form, the opposition is shown as a weak and incompetent party. Perhaps what makes a stark notable point here is that Manmohan Singh has absolutely no speaking role in the film. While businessman Narayanan is seen working with journalist Kumar to bring down Mr. Modi, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are shown as figureheads with not much of a role.
The only other character in the film who has almost as much screen space as Mr. Modi is Boman Irani, who plays the man responsible for giving Gujarat the Tata Group. Unlike other biopics (Thackeray for example,) PM Narendra Modi offers no points of debate.
Overall, the film is worth a watch if you are a Narendra Modi Ji fan but not if you want to watch a well thought out biopic.
Zoya Factor First Look Released
Sonam Kapoor just shared the first look poster of her new film, Zoya Factor, on Twitter and it looks whimsical.
— Sonam K Ahuja (@sonamakapoor) May 23, 2019
Based on the novel written by Anuja Chauhan in 2008 and directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film is a romcom, which revolves around the life of an advertising agent and her relationship with the Captain of the Indian Cricket Team.
After her last film, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, received mixed reviews from both audience and critics, Sonam Kapoor is back with Zoya Factor, which seems to have an entertaining plot.
The film also features the Malayalam heart throb Dulquer Salmaan. This is his second venture into Bollywood, after Karwaan.
The poster showcases Sonam and Dulquer sitting in a cricket stadium and gazing into each other’s eyes. The chemistry between the leads seems to be on point in the poster. Fans can definitely expect this film to be a fun filled entertainer. Catch Zoya Factor in cinemas from 20th September 2019.
Movies To Watch With Your Mother
Despite Mother’s Day gone past us, there are so many ways one can celebrate their mother. One of the nicest ways to celebrate this day with your mother is by binge watching these beautiful Bollywood films and sharing a special day together:
1. Mother India
Mother India depicted the true strength and courage a mother has when it comes to protecting her child. Telling the story of Radha (Nargis) this movie shows how a mother fights all the obstacles around her to raise her children. A testament to a mother’s love and dedication toward her child, this movie should definitely be on the list of films to watch with your mother if you haven’t already!
2. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge
While this mother daughter relationship might not be something we can relate with right now, what made it stand out when the film released was because of the underlying tone of understanding and secrecy shared between them. Right from the beginning, the way Farida Jalal understands what Kajol is going through and the kind of internal angst she faces, one can really appreciate the bond. As the movie progresses, one can see the relationship grow so much so that when we watch Farida tell Kajol to run away, it breaks your heart. Watch this movie and cuddle up with your mother, because the tears won’t stop flowing.
3. Bend it like Bekkham
So many times in life, we don’t appreciate what a mother goes through. Bend It Like Bekkham shows us exactly like this. On the one hand, you have a Punjabi mother desperate to show her daughter the “right way” and on the other, you have a mother trying to fit her into societal expectations. With both the mothers, there is one thing in common: a daughter who refuses to accept the rules. The parallel relationships make you appreciate all a mother does for you and if you want to tell your mother you understand her, then watch this movie!
4. Nil Battey Sannata
Perhaps one of the sweetest movies between a mother and her daughter, this film talks about how much a mother wants to see her daughter succeed in life. This need is so strong, the mother pushes herself to make sure her daughter studies and comes out a brilliant student. Not afraid of society and ridicule, the mother enroles herself in the same school as her daughter and motivates her in every way possible. So far, this movie is definitely a really well made film about how far a mother can go for a child. A must watch on Mother’s Day!
5. English Vinglish
We live at a time when language is unfortunately a barrier between relationships. This is exactly what happens in English Vinglish.Sridevi plays the role of a mother who isn’t confident with herself primarily because of the fact that she doesn’t know English. Thinking this is a drawback, she holds herself back from being all that she can. When she finally decides to start learning the language, the confidence is so great, it is almost like she transformed into another person. A coming of age movie, this film pulls at all the right heartstrings.
Watching movies like these with your mother is a great way to show her how much you love her. What is your favourite movie to watch with your mother on Mother’s Day? Comment and let us know!
