Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Mind Blowing Performances To Date

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan Best Performances, Kareena Kapoor best roles till date, Kareena Kapoor Khan Biggest hits in her Career, Kareena Kapoor Khan Latest News and Updates, Kareena Kapoor Khan Top Movies, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Mind Blowing Performances To Date, Mango Bollywood, Top 5 Performances of Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan, a member of one of the original families of Bollywood, has been in the industry for almost two decades now. Portraying a wide range of roles during her illustrious career, Kareena Kapoor proved time and again that she is a true force of nature in the industry. Here’s taking a look at some of the best performances and movies Kareena gave us so far!

1. Refugee

Perhaps one of the finest Bollywood debuts at the time, Kareena Kapoor made an amazing entry into Bollywood by playing the role of Nazneen in J.P. Dutta’s Refugee. In fact, her performance was so outstanding, it made her the highlight of this particular movie (despite being paired opposite Abhishek Bachchan.)

2. Jab We Met

A movie that was Kareena Kapoor through and through, Jab We Met brought to the fore the bubbly and fun side of this particular Kapoor. With all her emotions exactly where they needed to be, Bebo pulled off this role with supreme ease. Not only was she brilliant at acting, she was extremely convincing, giving all women who watched the film major feels. A truly brilliant performance, this movie was all kinds of amazing!

3. Chameli

Playing the role of a prostitute, Kareena did an extremely convincing job in Chameli by portraying an extremely raw character. One of the reasons this movie was so important for her was that before it came along, Bebo was almost going to be typecast into a particular kind of role. However, when people saw her play a different character so flawlessly, everyone just had to sit up and take notice!

4. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Ghum

While you may judge and mock this particular Karan Johar film, your childhood was incomplete if you didn’t watch Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. What makes it all the more amazing is the very well thought out characters, especially the one played by Kareena Kapoor! Come on, who else can play the role of Poo better than the ultimate Glam Doll herself, right?

5. Dev

Another first of sorts, Dev saw Kareena in her natural element. Playing the role of a Muslim girl fighting against everything wrong in the world, this movie saw Kareena move far away from the typical roles she played till that point. A bonus for Bebo lovers? Not only did she pull off the character really well, she also sang a song in the movie! If this isn’t a Kareena Kapoor film, what else would it be? The critics agreed and they gave her the Best Actress Award at Filmfare for her efforts!

6. Udta Punjab

There is something to be said about Kareena’s desire to do characters which aren’t expected from her. Playing the role of a doctor in the drug addled city of Punjab, Kareena proved how wrong it was to stereotype people and put them into boxes. Perhaps one of her finest performances to date, Udta Punjab reestablished Bebo’s position as a superwoman in the industry!

7. Ki and Ka

When you are given a script that demands marriage between two people were the husband stays at home, what would you do? Would you take the script or say no? Bebo did exactly what you wouldn’t do and did a brilliant job at proving to everyone that it’s okay to be true to yourself even when the society says no. So convincing was her performance in this movie, she showed women everywhere it was okay to bake the cake and eat it too!

8. Veere Di Wedding

Sticking to the theme of her character in Ki And Ka, Bebo did it again in Veere Di Wedding. Pointing out everything wrong in the Indian society and how one should do what is best for them, Kareena was outstanding in this particular movie. After the intense character she played in Udta Punjab, this particular movie saw one of the most riveting performances by Kareena!

Through the years, Bebo has grown from being Poo to being the girl who knows her foothold. If you think we missed out on any other brilliant roles played by her, comment and let us know!

Total Dhamaal Review And First Day Box Office Expectations

Total Dhamaal Review And First Day Box Office Expectations, Total Dhamaal Movie Review and Rating, Total Dhamaal Movie Public TAlk, Total Dhamaal Response, Total Dhamaal Movie Live Updates, Total Dhamaal Box Office Collections, Total Dhamaal Story, Total Dhamaal Movie Highlights, Ajay Devgn New Film Review, Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor latest Movie, Mango Bollywood

Cast: Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey, Sanjay Mishra, Sanjay Dutt, Johnny Lever, Esha Gupta, Crystal The Monkey, Aftab Shivdasani, Rajpal Yadav, Boman Irani

Director: Indra Kumar

The story of Total Dhamaal (the third installment of the Dhamaal series,) tells a pretty simple tale. A dying man reveals a secret, a Rs. 50 crores booty he stashed away in a forest in  Janakpur, India. The hope of finding this life changing amount of money sends a group of crazy people literally on a wild goose chase to the remote jungles. The group includes a constantly fighting couple (Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit,) greedy siblings (Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey,) local villains (Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Mishra) and a police commissioner (Boman Irani.) The dying man pulls the trigger on the search for a crazy treasure and this leaves us with a serious question. Do they finally find the treasure or is it just another search for the pot of the gold at the end of the rainbow?

Cars ramming into trucks, roaring tigers, a crazy monkey and bridges falling through half way in the movie, Total Dhamaal is one long ride into the unknown. As a director, Indra Kumar has left no stone unturned when it comes to creating a crazy Indian adventure. While the beginning parts of the movie set the scenes for a pretty exciting adventure ride, the beginning gives away most of what is happening.

Despite the plot being slightly weaker than the bridge which falls half way through, the film pulls through because of the impressive star cast. Opening to the highly hyped and pumped up title song which introduces the cast, Total Dhamaal progresses toward a slightly weird turn of events.

However, even though there are certain holes in the script and the story lacks luster, the cast does a brilliant job. Anil Kapoor is his usual comic self. Madhuri Dixit sheds off her charming look for a slightly negative role and the Arshad Warsi – Javed Jaffrey duo, brings their ‘A’ game to the table. Boman Irani plays an extremely convincing cop, with Ajay Devgn playing his character to perfection, like always!

Although the film could have been written better, there are more than a few hilarious moments. With the first two parts of the Dhamaal series being brilliant, this third part falls a few steps short of something really amazing. A comedy of errors, this movie had all the trappings of a truly brilliant adventure, director Indra Kumar just doesn’t hit the nail on the head. Although seemingly drawing influences from movies like It’s A Mad Mad Mad Mad World and the Hangover Series, this movie could have given us more than just a handful of laughs but fails to deliver what was promised. All in all, Total Dhamaal is a one time watch at best.

Badla First Song Kyun Rabba Released

Badla First Song Kyun Rabba Released, Badla song Kyun Rabba, Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu Badla, Badla Movie Songs, Mango Bollywood, Badla song Kyun Rabba Amitabh Bachchan, Badla song Kyun Rabba Taapsee Pannu, Badla Movie Latest News and Updates

Kyun Rabba, the first song from Taapsee Pannu’s and Amitabh Bachchan’s highly anticipated film, Badla, is finally out! While the recently released trailer shows us about what the movie is, without really divulging the details, the song gives us a little more insight.

Composed by Amaal Mallik and sung by Armaan Malik, the first song has been shot through the point of view of the character played by Taapsee Pannu. Bringing out an array of emotions and feelings, Kyun Rabba shows how a woman deals with a broken heart and with unrequited love. Listen to the song from Badla here and now!

Centering primarily around the character played by Taapsee Pannu, this song is all about accepting that life doesn’t always go the way you want. With different storylines being played out, this song also hints at the fact that Taapsee’s character may be having an extramarital affair. With not a lot of information revealed about this part in the trailer or any of the posters, the twist in the song adds a certain sense of intrigue to the story.

Speaking about the song, composer Amaal Mallik said in a statement, I like to keep things simple, especially for a song that is set in a thriller like Badla, where the emotions need to be conveyed with complexity. So, I compose a melody first and then place the arrangements for the song. Here, we’ve opted for an alternate rock feel with an Indian soundscape.”

With the song being all things simple and easy, Kyun Rabba doesn’t act like a filler, but instead, pushes the movie forward. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Badla brings back Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu after Pink, their first film together. While Taapsee Pannu plays the role of a woman trying to defend herself, Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of her lawyer. Badla is scheduled to hit the screens on the 8th of March this year!

While the baritone voice is a familiar presence in the Country now, the Angry Young Man of Bollywood had an inspiring journey. Here is taking a look at Amitabh Bachchan’s journey in the world of Bollywood in the last 5 decades!

1. Zanjeer

Zanjeer set the world of Bollywood onto a new path. While Amitabh Bachchan was already coming into his own before this film, Zanjeer gave the actor a new direction. When Amitabh Bachchan was introduced to the world of Bollywood, people had a new face to look at and admire. With the movie being all things amazing and Amitabh Bachchan being hailed as the next big thing, everyone was looking forward to something exciting. As a first movie, Zanjeer was the best thing which could happen to the Angry Young Man.

2. Silsila

From the moment Zanjeer became the super hit film that it was destined to be, Amitabh Bachchan’s success kept growing. With Silsila, his presence in the world of Bollywood was further cemented through his brilliant acting skills. His scintillating chemistry with Rekha quite literally set the rumour mill on fire, giving people a fresh new pair to look forward to everyday! A movie which wasn’t just about love, Silsila redefined the way people looked at and dealt with different circumstances. With the characters being so carefully handled, the movie just made everyone stand up and take notice of not just Amitabh Bachchan, but of Rekha as well!

3. Sholay

A movie which needs no introduction, Sholay was an Amitabh Bachchan classic film. A classic, Sholay was one of the highest grossing films released at the time and ranked first in the British Film Institute’s 2002 poll of “Top 10 Indian Films” of all time. A story about two criminals (Jeet and Veeru, played by Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan,) who try to capture a criminal, Gabbar Singh, this movie more than earned its place in the hall of fame. While the film initially received negative reactions when it released, the reviews quickly picked up and people started falling in love with the characters and the attention to detail the film had. Sholay was a film like never before and was perhaps one of the best performances Amitabh gave so far!

4. Don

The first and original Don, Amitabh Bachchan was a class act like no other actor. Playing a double role for the first time in his career, senior Bachchan ruled the roost with his acting skills in this movie! Classified as a golden jubilee hit by Box Office India, Don was an iconic movie in every sense of the word. The line, “Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin hai,” is still popular even today!

5. Agneepath

This film had a lot of expectations riding on Amitabh Bachchan. The title for this movie was taken from a poem written by Harshvardhan Rai Bachchan (Amitabh’s father) and the film also had an extremely talented cast (Mithun Chakraborty, Madhavi, Neelam Kothari, Rohini Hattangadi and Danny Denzongpa.) The poem written by Amitabh’s father was recited at the beginning of the film and just like Amitabh’s character, the poem gives shape to the central crux of this film as well. With Big B playing the character so well, Agneepath went on to become a major cult movie in years to come!

6. Piku

Telling the story of Piku Banerjee (played by Deepika Padukone) and her father (Amitabh Bachchan,) Piku saw Amitabh Bachchan acing the character. From praising the characterisation, to loving the plot, critics and fans alike loved the movie so much, it became an instant hit the moment it released! While both Deepika Padukone and Irfan Khan added a certain impact to the movie, it was Amitabh Bachchan’s perfect portrayal of a cranky old man which added the much needed gravitas to Piku. Definitely one of Amitabh’s best performances in the recent past!

While Amitabh Bachchan was known for playing certain roles during the earlier part of his career, he grew to play different types of characters in the future years.
