Celebrities Who Reinvented Themselves For A Role, 5 celebrities who drastically reinvented themselves, Bollywood Stars Who Lose and Gain Weight for Movie Roles, 5 Bollywood actors who went on extreme diets for movie roles, Actors That Underwent Major Physical Transformations, Mango Bollywood, Aamir Khan for Dangal, Bhumi Pednekar for Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Priyanka Chopra for Mary Kom

There are celebrities who act because of their talent and then there are others who put in more than just hard work to bring out their best. These celebrities not only go on extreme diets, they also change their physical appearance to suit a role they were to play. Check out these celebrities who either lost or gained weight to fit their character!

1. Aamir Khan for Dangal

Aamir Khan has proven time and time again that he is a brilliant actor. His dedication to his art is unparalleled and one can see that through the sheer amount of work he puts into his craft. Remember the film Dangal? Aamir gained more than 30 kg to play the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat and boy, did he play the role to perfection!

2. Hrithik Roshan for Krrish 3

Hrithik Roshan more than proved his worth as an actor when he went through not one, but two simultaneous transformations. The man lost weight for his role as a magician in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish and within ten weeks, with the help of Kris Gethin, regained all the weight and more for Krrish 3! If that is not dedication, I do not know what else is!

3. Bhumi Pednekar for Dum Laga Ke Haisha

That it is a sexist country, is a known fact. For our actors to lose or gain weight does not signify much, but for an actress, it signifies a lot. Bhumi Pednekar proved her worth as an actress by putting on more weight than necessary for her role in the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha, showing off her dedication in the truest form.

4. Rajkummar Rao for Bose

Rajkummar Rao did not become one of the most sought after actors in the industry for no reason. His hard work and dedication are what propelled him to the first position, especially for the film Bose. What makes this role so memorable is that he gained all the weight despite starving himself for his character in Trapped!

5. Priyanka Chopra for Mary Kom

Remember Priyanka Chopra and the role she played in the film, Gunday? The svelte lady was gorgeous, to say the least and no one can doubt that, right? What surprises everyone is that in the same year, Chopra made a mark by building up a brilliant and strong body for the film Mary Kom. Quite an inspiration, this change!

There is dedication and then there is over whelming obsession. These celebrities proved just that point over and over again. If you think we missed out on any celebrities who just have to be on this list, comment and let us know!
