10 Iconic Sri Devi Looks, Recalling the Sridevi's most iconic looks, Sridevi birth anniversary, #Sridevi, Remembering Sridevi on her birth anniversary, 10 Most Iconic Looks Of Chandini Sridevi, Mango Bollywood, Bollywood Latest News, Bollywood Celebrity Updates,

Sri Devi was the perfect mix of talent and beauty. She could charm anybody with those big expressive eyes and her attractive smile. Sri Devi pulled off every look, with an exceptional amount of pizzazz. She did it all so effortlessly. Sri Devi was a fashion icon for her generation. On her birthday we celebrate her by looking back at ten of her most iconic looks.

The Hawa Hawai! How can we forget about her most iconic moment till date? The gold dress and the brilliant head piece were definitely hard to pull off,  but the only person that could rock it and look absolutely stunning is Sri Devi.

This image has got me awestruck. Her eyes have so much expression, the big lashes only emphasise her doe eyes. The red lips with the red outfit is a classic.

Sri Devi looked like a literal goddess when she donned beautiful jewellery and blinged out outfits in the film Himmatwala.

Her ensemble from the film Chaalbaaz has to be my personal favourite. Sri Devi’s monochromatic outfit, with the big hoops, gives her a badass look.

Sri Devi definitely did make everyone run out and copy her look with a sleeveless blouse and a pearl necklace when she wore it in the film Chandni. She was definitely an iconic trend setter.

The oversized patterned shirt with a trouser worked extremely well with her character in the film Gumraah. The short hair suited emphasised her facial structure, giving her a powerful look.

The innocent look in her film Khuda Gawaah; was completed when she adorned minimal jewellery and paired it with subtle makeup.

Sri Devi was definitely a Roop Ki Rani in the film Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. The big hair and lashes, with a bold lipstick, complemented her snazzy gown.

In the film Lamhe the beautiful actress emphasises her good looks, with the perfect amount of makeup, and beautiful outfits.

Her character in English Vinglish was fearless and brave, she managed to pull that look off with a lot of class. The minimal makeup and traditional outfit suited Sri Devi very much.

This movie also marks the entrance of a new face, Sahher Bambba.  While Karan is all set to play the male lead in the film, Sahher is going to play the female lead.

15 Years Of Lakshya,Bollywood Movies About War,Mango Bollywood,Bollywood Movie Latest News,Hrithik Roshan on 15 years of Lakshya,Lakshya completes 15 years,Hrithik Roshan celebrates 15 years of Lakshya,Best Bollywood movies based on war stories,Best Bollywood War Movies

Remember how Hrithik Roshan grew up and joined the Indian Army to inspire the rest of us in Lakshya?  As today marks 15 years since the release of this film, here is taking a look at some war movies which were not just about the lives of Indian soldiers but also about war and what the soldiers went through:

1. Lakshya

Directed by Farhan Akhtar, Lakshya told the story of Lieutenant Karan Shergill, who leads his squad to victory by capturing a territory taken over by Pakistan.  While war does play a crucial role in this movie, the other issue with which this film deals is how people grow when faced with responsibility.  From facing real life issues head on, to understanding the discipline and time which goes into becoming an adult, Lakshya is a true tribute to war and soldiers.

2. Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo

Directed by Anil Sharma, Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo tells the story of how terrorists attacked the holy temple of Kedarnath.  Apart from the story about this attack, the film also talks about how a man joins the Indian Army for a few years before moving to the United States. However, after he joins, he realises the amount of effort which goes into being a soldier and from then on, everything about his life changes.  Everything about this movie is heartwarming and shows how much people can do when pushed into a corner.

3. LOC Kargil

Based on the Kargil War fought between India and Pakistan, LOC Kargil was directed by J.P. Dutta.  A step by step account of everything which happened during the Kargil War, the film brings to the fore the hardships of war and what soldiers go through on a daily basis.  A multi layered story, LOC Kargil talks about the soldiers who made the entire operation a success.  Everything about this movie made you not only respect the amount of effort soldiers put into the war but also how much personal sacrifices they make for their country.

4. Airlift

Unlike the other films, Airlift tells the story of how a businessman helps evacuate Indians in Kuwait who are stuck there during the invasion of Kuwait by Saddam Hussein.  While this is one of the primary issues about which this movie talks, Airlift also looks at how the lead puts his personal life aside to help his fellow countrymen when in need.  A true patriotic movie, Airlift makes you fall in love with how far people can go to help their countrymen when required.

5. Border

Director J.P. Dutta’s shot to fame, Border was based on the Indo Pakistan War of 1971.  Touted to be one of the best war films to have been released, this movie showed what our soldiers went through to make our country a safe place.  From night patrols to killing men at gunpoint, Border makes you realise how deep the spirit of patriotism runs in a soldier’s blood.

If you think we missed out on any other great movies about war and soldiers giving their lives to protect their motherland, comment and let us know!

Sardar Udham Singh, Vicky Kaushal’s next film, finally has a release date.  Based on the life of Udham Singh, a revolutionary who was a part of the Indian freedom struggle, this Shoojit Sircar directorial is going to hit the screens on the 2nd of October, 2020.

Talking about the film, Shoojit Sircar said in a statement, “Yes we will be releasing on 2nd October 2020. Keeping in mind the remaining shoot schedule, the post production process and the time required to complete the film, my producers and good friends Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar advised this date for a feasible release next year, hence I decided to go ahead with it!”

Making a film about this revolutionary man was Sircar’s dream.  The Country remembers Udham Singh for shooting Brigadier General Reginald Dyer and Michael O’Dwyer, the Lieutenant Governor of Punjab, in 1940.  Udham Singh killed the two men to avenge the death of all the people killed during the Jallianwala Bagh massacre (1919) in Punjab.

Apart from this biopic, Vicky Kaushal is currently working on Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship,  which is scheduled to release on the 15th of November, 2019.  Shoojit Sircar, on the other hand, is working on Gulabo Sitaabo, which will star Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead roles.

Written by Ritesh Shah and Shubendu Bhattacharya, Sardar Udham Singh is bankrolled by Rising Sun Films.
