Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3, the third installment of the Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster series hit the screens today and from the first impression, the film is extremely different from the previous two films. An imprisoned saheb, an extremely politically powerful biwi and a London based gangster obsessed with killing using Russian roulette, form the central characters of this particular film.
The Haveli is fired up and the struggle for power is all ablaze in #SahebBiwiAurGangster3. In Cinemas Tomorrow!@duttsanjay @jimmysheirgill @IChitrangda @MahieGillOnline @sakpataudi @saregamaglobal

The third installment picks off from where Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns ends. Aditya (the saheb) is in prison on murder charges while Madhavi (Aditya’s first wife) works with his second wife (Soha Ali Khan) to keep him inside! The gangster in the form of Sanjay Dutt clinches the entire plot in a very regal manner! The central point of the film focuses on the stories of Aditya and Madhavi.
The rest of the cast, with the exception of Sanjay Dutt, act as fillers, leaving a sour after taste. However, what makes the film works for the most part is the taut writing. In a film with so many characters, the film usually fails but Tigmanshu Dhulia has really done quite a splendid job with the story!
It is quite obvious that Dhulia fell prey to the usual pitfalls by using an unforgettable item number as well as a seemingly avoidable love song. Thankfully, what redeems him are the crisp punch packed dialogues. Despite a dramatic script, the dialogues are well written and highly effective. Overall, with a screenplay that surprises and performances to match, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 successfully takes the legacy forward with slight bumps on the way.

Reasons To Watch Gold Tomorrow
Gold, the highly anticipated film starring Akshay Kumar and written by Mouni Roy, is all scheduled to hit the screens tomorrow. Before it does, here is taking a look at why you just have to watch this Akshay Kumar starrer!
1. The Independence Day angle
As a film, Gold touches a strong patriotic angle. This movie talks about India’s first Gold medal win at the Olympics, post the British Raj. What better way to celebrate the 71st Independence Day than by watching a film with such strong roots in our Country’s fight for freedom?
2. Akshay Kumar
To say Akshay Kumar has grown as an actor is an understatement. With films like Toilet Ek Prem Katha and PadMan to his name, the actor worked in some great films in the recent past. With Gold as well, there are a lot of expectations riding on this particular actor. It is going to be quite interesting to watch this man play a role he has not done before!
3. A true story
Gold has two things going for it: the fact it is releasing on Independence Day and that it is inspired from true events. Gold is based on the events leading up to India’s first Olympic gold medal as a free country. The true events of the time must be different but the makers have tried to present the essence of the era with this film.
4. The cast
In the recent past, ensemble casts have been working really well for the Bollywood industry. With Gold also, Mouni Roy has gone the extra mile. The film stars Vineet Kumar Singh who won over critics earlier this year with his stellar performance in Mukkabaaz. Amit Sadh and Kunal Kapoor, who were both last seen in Raag Desh, play pivotal roles in this particular film.
As a film, Gold seems extremely promising. Watch the movie tomorrow and tell us what you think!
7 Best Bollywood Marketing Strategies
Bollywood is evolving so is the way they market their films. Every film now has a unique marketing strategy, from going bald to dressing up as a beggar at a railway station. Below are the top Bollywood films that have changed the marketing game.
The first look of the iconic haircut that came to be known as the ‘Ghajini look’ was first featured by Aamir Khan himself when he attended the premiere of Race. This look gathered more attention when 100 employees at Big Cinemas shaved their heads too.
Vidya Balan dressed up as a pregnant woman, playing her reel life role as Vidya Bagchi, by distributing a poster of her ‘missing’ husband on railway stations to promote her film. This created a buzz around the movie prior to its release.
Various techniques were employed for the promotion of Ra.One; with an astounding marketing budget of Rs.40 Crore included for digital marketing. The Ra.One video game was released as a game for Sony Play Station, it was one of the first Bollywood films to incorporate video games as well as merchandise.
3 Idiots (2009)
Aamir Khan kept disappearing and reappearing across the country to promote his film, 3 Idiots. This stunt became more popular as Sachin Tendulkar, Kareena Kapoor and Sourav Ganguly gave hints as to the whereabouts of Aamir Khan.
Bunty Aur Babli (2005)
Rani Mukherjee and Abhishek Bachchan appeared on the popular tv show MTV Bakra and played the pranksters. They star as a burglar duo in the movie. On the TV show, they prank a car dealership owner and a jewellery shop owner keeping with the theme of the movie.
Promotional tactic for the film was a picture of Anushka Sharma’s character from the film in front of Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan’s residency. In accordance, with the movie’s storyline in which Anushka Sharma plays a ghost.
Bobby Jasoos (2014)
Vidya Balan played a detective in the movie Bobby Jasoos, to promote the film, Vidya Balan disguised herself as a beggar and sat outside Hyderabad Station.
10 Iconic Sri Devi Looks
Sri Devi was the perfect mix of talent and beauty. She could charm anybody with those big expressive eyes and her attractive smile. Sri Devi pulled off every look, with an exceptional amount of pizzazz. She did it all so effortlessly. Sri Devi was a fashion icon for her generation. On her birthday we celebrate her by looking back at ten of her most iconic looks.
The Hawa Hawai! How can we forget about her most iconic moment till date? The gold dress and the brilliant head piece were definitely hard to pull off, but the only person that could rock it and look absolutely stunning is Sri Devi.
This image has got me awestruck. Her eyes have so much expression, the big lashes only emphasise her doe eyes. The red lips with the red outfit is a classic.
Sri Devi looked like a literal goddess when she donned beautiful jewellery and blinged out outfits in the film Himmatwala.
Her ensemble from the film Chaalbaaz has to be my personal favourite. Sri Devi’s monochromatic outfit, with the big hoops, gives her a badass look.
Sri Devi definitely did make everyone run out and copy her look with a sleeveless blouse and a pearl necklace when she wore it in the film Chandni. She was definitely an iconic trend setter.
The oversized patterned shirt with a trouser worked extremely well with her character in the film Gumraah. The short hair suited emphasised her facial structure, giving her a powerful look.
The innocent look in her film Khuda Gawaah; was completed when she adorned minimal jewellery and paired it with subtle makeup.
Sri Devi was definitely a Roop Ki Rani in the film Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. The big hair and lashes, with a bold lipstick, complemented her snazzy gown.
In the film Lamhe the beautiful actress emphasises her good looks, with the perfect amount of makeup, and beautiful outfits.
Her character in English Vinglish was fearless and brave, she managed to pull that look off with a lot of class. The minimal makeup and traditional outfit suited Sri Devi very much.
