Shubh Din, The First Song From Parmanu Is Out. Listen For True Patriotic Feels!

Published

on

Shubh Din, the first song from Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, just dropped and just like the film, the song also celebrates patriotism in the true sense of the word. While the film celebrates India’s journey into becoming a nuclear power, the song talks about the struggles faced by the scientists.

Composed by Sachin and Jigar, with lyrics by Keerthi Sagathia and Jyotica Tangri, Shubh Din celebrates the true spirit of the soldiers who fought to bring India to the place where it is today. Listen to it here.

Featuring Diana Penty and John Abraham in the lead roles, the song talks about victory, bravery and the fight against evil in the basic sense of the word. After a series of nuclear tests in the state of Pokhran, India, as a country, was officially recognised as a nuclear power base and Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, depicts exactly that fight.

The film was delayed for a long time now, because of the continuous wars between John Abrahams’ production house and co producers, KriArj Entertainment. With the release date of the film being pushed around time and time again, John Abraham and team did not have a particular date in mind for a while now.

However, with the battle between the producers being resolved in a timely manner, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran finally got a release date. Directed by Abhishek Sharma and starring Diana Penty and John Abraham in the lead roles, the film is going to now scheduled to hit the screens on 25 May, 2018.

Best Bollywood Dance Sequences Ever, 5 Must See Bollywood Dance Sequences, Best Bollywood dance scenes in Hindi movies, 5 Utterly Fabulous Bollywood Dance Routines, Iconic Dance Moves Bollywood, Best Bollywood Dance Songs of All Time, Mango Bollywood, Bollywood Latest Updates 2018, Top 5 Bollywood Iconic Dance Steps

As a child from a Tambrahm family, I was forced to learn Bharatnatyam. I hated it of course, with my mind wandering to the forbidden world of Bollywood and Bollywood dances! Just when you thought you knew it all and you could kill it with some amazing moves, Bollywood proved me wrong. Check out these amazing dance moves below!

1. Aplam Chaplam from Azaad

This song is impressive, to say the least. A combination of technique and precision, Aplam Chaplam is the perfect combination of innovation and tradition on the silver screen. On a side note, this is song shows what fusion really looks like! Listen to the song here!

2. Dola Re Dola from Devdas

While Aplam Chaplam was from the 1955, Dola Re Dola is another example of classical dance infused with modern moves. What makes this song so special is the intricate details and attention to the movements in the song. Listen to Dola Re Dola here!

3. Mehbooba Mehbooba from Sholay

Helen, one of the most badass anti heroines of Bollywood, was way past her prime when she performed this particular number. However, age did nothing to stop her from gyrating in a belly dancer’s outfit to this RD Burman track (inspired by a song from Greek singer Demis Roussos.) This song set the tone for future dancers in Bollywood as well! Watch Helen killing it to the tunes here!

4. Radha Kaise Na Jale from Lagaan

From the Oscar nominated film Lagaan, Radha Kaise Na Jale was a true depiction of dance and emotion brought out on to the silver screen! This Gujarati style dance number had the graceful Gracy Singh performing elaborate classical movements in not one, but several long takes. On a side note, it showed us there were other actresses who could dance as well! Watch Gracy Singh groove to the folk tune here!

5. Dhoom Again from Dhoom 2

Okay I know there were a large number of classical songs dominating this list, which is why, this particular song just HAD to be added. Hrithik has joints which stretch and snap like rubber bands. Apart from the massive amount of energy radiating from this song, what makes it so special is this song is a purely male actor led performance! A treat to the tired eyes, for sure! Listen to it here!

I hope these songs took you down the sweet road of nostalgia like it did for me. Comment and let us know if we missed out on any mention worthy dance numbers!

Bati Gul Meter Chalu First Song Is Out. Listen To It Here!, Batti Gul Meter Chalu Movie Updates, Gold Tamba Song, Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor Bati Gul Meter Chalu Updates, Upcoming Hindi Movies 2018, Mango Bollywood, Bollywood Latest News, Shraddha Kapoor Upcoming Movie News, Shahid Kapoor Upcoming Film Updates,

After a long, long wait and lot of excitement, the maker of Batti Gul Meter Chalu just dropped Gold Tamba, the first song from the film. What makes this particular song so enticing is, despite the serious issue the film deals with, the makers could not help but add a peppy track to the mix.

Gold Tamba, the first song, deviates a tad bit from the topic and gives one an idea of what not to expect from Batti Gul Meter Chalu. While the tune is peppy, what does not work for this particular song is the slapstick lingo used throughout the 2 odd minutes. Perhaps the only relief for this particular Shahid Kapoor number lies in the way it it has been picturised, amid the setting of a mela or a fair, with its colourful hues. It seems like Gold Tamba is a blend of Shahid’s previous songs like Saree Ke Fall Sa and Gandi Baat, while its music might also remind you of Jabra Fan from the film Fan. Listen to it here!

Set in a small town in Uttarkhand, Batti Gul Meter Chalu addresses the issue of electricity theft and offloading issues faced by the rural areas of India. On a side note, do not miss the solid foundation of friendship the film is formed around. Apart from Shahid Kapoor, Batti Gul Meter Chalu also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautami and is scheduled to hit the screens on 21 September, 2018.

The New Stree Song Is Beautiful. Listen To It Here!, Stree song Nazar Na Lag Jaaye, Nazar Na Lag Jaaye Hindi song Review, Stree Movie Songs, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor Stree Movie Updates, Mango Bollywood, Bollywood Latest News 2018, Upcoming Hindi Movies 2018

Nazar Na Lag Jaye,  the next song from Stree (the upcoming Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor horror comedy starrer,) just released and it is truly beautiful. They say love in a horror comedy is a bit over the top but this song proves us just how wrong the critics can be.

The song opens to Rajkummar Rao‘s character asking for Shraddha Kapoor’s characters number. Remember how there were theories floating around about Shraddha Kapoor’s character being a ghost? The theory is proven through this song! “Every time you think of me, I shall appear in front of you,” says Shraddha Kapoors character. Voila! Stree’s identity in the film is revealed! Listen to the song here if you have not already!

One of the highlights of the song is the real mela the song has been pictured around. A lot of locals were involved in that shoot, making the entire scene a community affair! Set in the small town Chanderi, the song has the two leads strolling through the fair. Rajkummar bears the innocence of a man in love for the first time and the happiness of being loved is much visible in Shraddha’s vibrant smile. Lyricist Vayu has done a decent job in bringing out the sweetness of first love in the song. Composed by composer duo Sachin Jigar and sung by Ash King, this song sets the tone for the rest of the film, giving one an idea of what to expect from the film!

Love comes in various forms. Some types of love last forever while there are others that fill your heart with agony and pain. Then again, there are some stories, (no matter how many times they are told,) that always leave an impression on you. The story of one of our favourite epics, Laila Majnu, is one such tale. While all of us know the original version as well as the back of our palm, Imtiaz Ali is here to give us a new spin on this age old story.

The recently dropped trailer of Laila Majnu gives the tired and tested tale of love and heartbreak a new twist. This Imtiaz Ali creation, starring Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Diwari, aims at breaking societal stereotypes, letting people know its okay to be a flirt and that it is okay to love in public! Check out the trailer below!

Shortly after the release of the trailer, the makers just dropped the first song from the film, Aahista! Sung by Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi, this first track captures the blooming romance between the lead pair, which turns out to be shadowed by agony towards the end. This song portrays the dilemma of two lovers, who are separated by their families, trapped by the atrocities of the society, capturing the true essence of Laila and Majnu! Listen to the song here!

While the film has been written by Imtiaz Ali as a re working of the original age old love story of Laila Majnu, the film has been directed by Sajid Ali. Set with Kashmir as a backdrop, Laila Majnu is scheduled to hit the screens on 7 September, 2018!

Bollywood Remade Songs Through The Years

Published

Bollywood Remade Songs Through The Years, Top 3 Bollywood remakes of old hit songs, Bollywood Remake Songs, 3 Awesome Hindi Song Remakes, Mango Bollywood, Latest Bollywood News 2018, Bollywood Film Updates, Remake of Old Hindi Songs

Bollywood as an industry is quite peculiar. Our zealous directors seem to love the idea of revisiting the past and trying to capture the magic of the days gone by. While the idea of sequels and prequels did not really sit well with the audience, revised versions of Bollywood hits are quite popular. If you are having a particularly Manic Monday, then these remakes just might turn the day around for you.

1. Laila Main Laila

I absolutely love both the original and remade versions of this song. Starring Sunny Leone, the new version was called Laila Main Laila and retained the original score. What made this song such a hit was Sunny Leone‘s uncanny impression of Zeenat Aman from the original film! Listen to the song here if you have been living under a rock for the last couple of years!

2. Tamma Tamma Again

Tamma Tamma Again, featuring Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, was another remake that has to make it to this list. While this song also retained the original tune, what makes it different is the crazy rap beats, turning the song into one of the craziest party anthems of the year! Listen to it here if you want to groove to something upbeat and funky.

3. Hawa Hawai 2.0

Hawa Hawai, the iconic song from Mr. India (1987) featuring Sridevi was remade for Tumhari Sulu as Hawa Hawai 2.0. Featuring Vidya Balan, Neha Dhupia and RJ Malishka, Kavita Krishnamurthy’s unmistakable vocals have been retained in this recreated and reprogrammed new version. The song hit just the right chords with the audiences instantly and became an instant hit! Listen to this peppy number here!

If your Monday started off with as bad a note as mine, then these songs are definitely what you need. If you think we missed on any amazing remakes, feel free to comment and let us know!
