Rajkummar Rao has been making the news lately for all the right reasons. One of the most important things he is being known for lately is his brand new movie, Omerta. What is truly scary in this world? The evil which lurks in broad daylight.
Another collaboration between Hansal Mehta and Rajkummar Rao, this movie is based on the real life story of Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, a British terrorist of Pakistani descent. Director Hansal Mehta has called this movie his bravest attempt yet and from the looks of things, it is definitely not a bold statement.

The two and a half minute trailer shows how Ahmed (Rajkummar Rao) emerges from being a trainee to a full fledged terrorist. The one part that stays strong with you within the trailer is not the violence, not the shooting and not the brutal retaliation but Rajkummar’s smile as he steps into a police van. This is pure evil in every form. Watch the trailer here!
Rajkummar Rao and Mehta have previously worked together in several award winning projects, the most noteworthy of them being Aligarh, CityLights and Shahid. Produced by Nahid Khan and presented by Swiss Entertainment, Omerta is scheduled to hit the screens on 20 April, 2018.
Article 15 – Second Song Naina Yeh Out Now
After dropping a truly angry first song from the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15, the makers just dropped Naina Yeh, the second track from the movie. Quite unlike the first song, Naina Yeh is all about experiencing your emotions and opening up to the person you truly love.
Naina Yeh is composed by Piyush Shankar and sung by Yasser Desai and Aakansha Sharma. What makes this song stand out is, one can connect with the emotions of this song because of the lyrics. The actors maintained themselves in a manner which is restricted, leaving the interpretations largely to the listener. Check out the song here to know what we mean!
When eyes do the talking..

— Ayushmann Khurrana (@ayushmannk) June 15, 2019
The first song released from this movie was an angry rap song called Shuru Karein Yeh. Depicting all the things which are wrong with the world, the first song gave one an idea of what to expect from the movie. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, Article 15 is perhaps one of the most awaited movies this month.
Apart from seeing Ayushmann Khurrana in a brand new light, the story of this film is also quite an intriguing one, with inspiration drawn from a horrific gang rape case. To make things all the more exciting, this movie sees Ayushmann Khurana play the role of a cop for the first time in his career!
Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana, this movie also stars Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, M. Nasser, Ashish Verma, Sushil Pandey, Subrajyoti Bharat, Ronjini Chakraborty and Zeeshan Ayub in the lead roles. Article 15 is scheduled to hit the screens on the 21st of June, so block your calendars now!

Article 15 Trailer Out Now
After teasing us with posters and short videos, the makers of Article 15 finally dropped the promised trailer today, as promised. If you thought the 45 second video released on the 27th of May was gripping, then think again.

Watch the trailer here and now.

The trailer shows how two girls from a lower caste are raped for the mere mistake of asking for a raise of Rs. 3. When Ayushmann Khurrana arrives at the scene, he realises everyone, from the senior officials to the villagers, live their lives based on what caste or religion they belong. Looking at the intense discrimination, Khurrana brings out the importance of Article 15 of the Indian Constitution.
According to Article 15, no person can or should be discriminated against on the basis of caste, religion, sex or place of birth. With the film, Anubhav Sinha and Team Article 15 take a stark look at what happens when those in power don’t implement the law, in this case, Article 15 of the Constitution of India.
Directed by Anubhav Sinha, this movie is reportedly based on the 2014 Badaun rape case, which shook the entire Country when it happened. Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana, this movie also stars Isha Talwar, M. Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.
Co produced by Anubhav Sinha and Zee Studios, Article 15 is scheduled to hit the screens on the 28th of June.
PM Narendra Modi Trailer Released
After a long wait (and just short of the Lok Sabha elections,) the trailer of the biopic about PM Narendra Modi was released today. With Vivek Oberoi playing Narendra Modi, the trailer maps out the Prime Minister’s life from before his entrance into politics to being a Prime Minister. With subtle prosthetics and makeup done the right way, Oberoi has pulled off Modi’s character perfectly.
Opening to the days of Modi’s life as a tea seller at a railway station, the trailer moves forward to show how Modi ended up as one of the most important persons in India. With hard hitting slogans, the tri colour fluttering with pride and hints of anti Pakistani sentiments, this movie is a tribute to Modi. Watch the trailer here and now!
— Vivek Anand Oberoi (@vivekoberoi) March 20, 2019
Apart from giving us an insight into Modi’s life, the trailer also shows us what to expect from the different characters in the film. Furthermore, it also shows us Modi’s life as a child and about his self imposed exile from family and marriage life. From rescuing Muslims, to saving a burning Gujarat and to the victory of Modi’s party in 2014, this trailer shows Narendra Modi as not just a leader, but a man of action.
While some people argue, this movie is about furthering and promoting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) before the Lok Sabha elections, others say it is a dedication to the Party’s leader. Also starring Boman Irani, Manoj Sinha, Zarina Wahab, Barkha Bisht, Darshan Rawal, Akshat R. Saluja, Anjan Shrivastav, Rajendra Gupta and Yatin Karyekar, this biopic is directed by Omung Kumar.
With most of the film shot in Gujarat, the biopic is co produced by Sandeep Ssingh, Suresh Oberoi and Anand Pandit. Initially scheduled to release on the 12th of April, the release date of PM Narendra Modi was changed. This movie is now slated to hit the screens on the 5th of April this year.
