A new year, new resolutions, new plans and new beginnings. Three months into the New Year and it is finally time to make some of those resolutions come true, right? Some movies make you laugh and some movies make you cry. Some movies make you want to travel. If you still have not gotten the urge to pack your bags and travel all over the world, then here are some movies that give you the right push!

1. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge

From the cold, cold lands of London to the warm fields of Punjab, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge has Zurich, a love story in a train, song and dance. Do you want to travel? Then maybe travel by train because you could have a life changing journey.

2. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Food. Travel. Culture. Life. History. This movie has the perfect package, giving us a view of the world through the eyes of an avid traveller. Be it the cold mountains or the mystic countrysides of Paris, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani gives us proper travel goals.

3. Queen

What better way to get over a heartbreak than to travel? Or a failed marriage in this case. In Rani’s (Kangana Ranaut) case, she travelled to make new friends, new memories and to realise that she could live life successfully on her own!

4. Zindagi Na Milegi Dubara

When I watched this movie, I kid you not, I made my bachelorette plans with my best friends. Everything about this movie made me realise there was more to life than being scared and not asking for answers.

5. Highway

Trapped in a world of pretense and over the top formalities, Highway shows us a kidnapped girl’s escape into the real world. Mountains call and the world beckons with a strong force. Reality is not all that it is keyed up for, from the looks of this movie.

So what are you waiting for? Are you a beach side person or a mountain side person? Or a classic tourist? Hopefully this list inspires to hit the road!

Hichki: Reasons To Watch!

Hichki Reasons To Watch,Reasons to watch Rani Mukerji Hichki, rani mukerji new movie, rani mukerji hichki, hichki release, rani mukerji upcoming movie Hichki,Rani Mukerji to make comeback with Hichki, mango bollywood, latest bollywood news and gossip

What’s life without a few hiccups? The tagline of Rani Mukherjee’s much awaited movie, Hichki, is based on overcoming all of life’s hiccups. After taking a break from the silver screen since the birth of her child, Rani is back with a bang. Directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra, here are four reasons to watch this Rani Mukherjee starrer!

1. Bollywood dealing with physical impairment

Bollywood has tried to become more than just a platform for drama. With movies like Water, Earth and Margherita With A Straw, our filmmakers are trying to give us meaningful cinema to look forward. Hichki is just one such film which deals with the fact that even though you have a life filled with an impairment as serious and untreatable like Tourettes, you still fight to make the best out of what you have been given.

2. A student teacher relationship

As a country, India has always maintained a gap between the student and the teacher. Teachers are always given an inaccessible position. In Hichki, Rani’s character tries breaking these stereotypes and establishing a new ground. She has tried to show us that the world does not need to be the way it is and if you want to, you can get the change you need.

3. A Yash Raj Films Project

When Yash Raj Films gets associated with a film, one can only expect brilliance. Every film they have been associated with is nothing short of cinematic excellence and going by the early reviews, Hichki promises to be worth the wait!

4. Rani Mukherjee

Considering how Rani has always been invested in the character she portrays and understands the sensibilities of it, her role of a determined teacher looks promising in the Siddharth P Malhotra directorial. Also, looking back at how she has earlier presented the life challenges of those with disabilities in the 2005 film Black, Hichki leaves us excited to see Rani back in action.
