Annually, Bollywood as an industry releases at least 300 movies. The fact that Bollywood is popular world over is no strange thing. While a lot of things have been known about the different members of this industry, there are still some things a lot of us do not know. Today, we take a look at the top ten lesser known facts about the Bollywood fraternity.

1. Shah Rukh Khan

King Khan has not been declared as one of the best actors in the industry for no reason. Not only has he acted in over 300 movies, he has also won the award for being the Best Actor 29 times till date!

2. Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone made her big Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om in the year 2007 and since then, there has been no looking back for this long legged beauty. Interestingly, she is the ONLY Bollywood actress who made it to the Rs. 500 crores club!

3. Kalki Koelchin

Kalki Koelchin is perhaps one of the most underrated actresses in Bollywood. While everyone knows about Kalki’s French roots, very few know the fact that Kalki’s grandfather, Maurice Koelchin, was the Chief Engineer during the construction of the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty! Cool right?

4. Mera Naam Joker

Mera Naam Joker released in 1970 and was perhaps the longest movie in Bollywood. It was so long, the movie had not one but TWO intervals! No movie has been able to beat this movie in terms of length!

5. Heroine

Madhur Bhandarkar has been known for making iconic movies like Fashion and Heroine. While Heroine was considered to be way ahead of its time by fans and critics alike, did you know that Kareena Kapoor Khan wore more than 130 dresses at different points during the movie? All the clothes she wore were designed by extremely famous designers. This was definitely a first!

6. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge

While a lot of us love Shah Rukh Khan’s and Kajol’s pairing in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, did you know the first choice for Raj’s character was not Shah Rukh Khan? Hollywood actor, Tom Cruise, was supposed play this role. Back then, however, Hollywood and Bollywood did not really get along and this idea was aborted.

7. Sridevi

Sridevi has always been an icon for us. Did you know, in one of her initial movies, she played unconventional roles? One such movie was Moondru Mudichu where she played the role of Rajnikanth’s step mother despite the fact that she was only 13 years old at the time. Wow!

8. Mughal E Azam

When Mughal E Azam was being shot, it was initially shot in not one, but three different languages! While the Tamil version of this film tanked, the Hindi version did exceptionally well. Unfortunately, the English version was aborted right in the beginning.

9. Lagaan

Did you know Aamir Khan’s Lagaan was the first Bollywood movie to release in China? Not only was it the first movie of its kind, it was also the first movie to have an international release!

10. Mother India

The Oscars have been a coveted award ceremony not just for the Hollywood industry but also for the Bollywood world. Interestingly, Mother India was the first Bollywood movie to be nominated in the Foreign Films Category!

Mowgli, The Jungle Book a fable we have loved since time immemorial, is here with a brand new twist. Dark tales and twisted jungles turn this age old story into a myriad of heartbreaks and disappointments, turning Mowgli into an unfamiliar story.

Warner Bros. just dropped the first trailer of the film and by the looks of things, the bare necessities of the story captivate and draw in an eager to please audience. From the direction of the very talented Andy Serkis, Mowgli tells the story of the struggles of real life. Watch the trailer here.

The two and a half minute trailer takes us through familiar jungles and territories, with a tale Rudyard Kipling told with easy familiarity. What the new trailer does, however, wants to remind you is there is more to life than what meets the eye. While Kipling’s Mowgli had a happy ending, Andy Serkis’s Mowgli tells us not all stories have a happy ending. The comedy free trailer launches with Mowgli imprisoned in a wooden cage. He is told by his friend Bagheera, voiced by Christian Bale, “When you were a cub, I looked you in the eye and saw no fear.” With trailer coming packed with impressive punch lines and a modern twist, Mowgli, The Jungle Book, seems to be a promising watch.

Much like the other Warner Bros., films Mowgli The Jungle Book has a formidable cast. With Freida Pinto and Rohan Chand in the leads roles, Christian Bale voices Bagheera, Benedict Cumberbatch plays Shere Khan and Cate Blanchett plays Kaa. This particular project was in the pipeline for over two years now and was initially called The Jungle Book. Unfortunately, in a move smoother than butter, Disney swooped in at the last minute and released a film with the same title. Warner Bros., is will release Mowgli on 19 October, 2018!

Hrithik Roshan And Sussanne Roshan A Sad Love Story,Hrithik Sussanne complete Love Story,Hrithik Sussanne real life story,Hrithik and Sussanne marriage pics, untold love story of Hrithik Roshan And Sussanne,Hrithik Roshan And Sussanne wedding photos,Hrithik Roshan And Sussanne memorable Love Story, Mango Bollywood

Their love story started when they were a mere 12 years old. Hrithik Roshan used to circle around Sussanne’s house and impress her with stunts no one could know of at that time. Their story of how they met and broke up was the stuff romantic dramas are made of, with a bitter sweet ending. For the uninitiated, here’s how the Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Roshan love story came to be!

A traffic signal gave them the green light

While signs of true love may have blossomed at a young age for Hrithik and Sussanne, the official green light for their relationship came much later. After Sussanne returned to India, the two locked eyes at a traffic signal and immediately proceeded to ignore the incident! When they got home, Kunal Kapoor was the man who the news was told.

While the two moved in similar circles for a long time, the two were scared to confess their feelings to each other. Finally, after a long to and fro of sorts, the two finally came together and boy! Was it a happy ending. At least for the time being, anyway.

The first steps

Suzanne and Hrithik dated each other for four long years before deciding to tie the knot. Their marriage, while it lasted for only thirteen years, was happy and filled with memories. He was a blue eyed, eleven fingered hunk and she was the doe eyed beauty behind this hulk of a man!

The end

Like everything had to come to an end, so did the marriage of Hrithik Roshan’s and Suzanne Khan’s. Despite being besotted with each other for so long, the two decided to part ways amicably. If only to start as love and end as friends was the true reason, then Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne gave us true life goals!
