Bollywood Parents You Do Not Want In Real Life!

Bollywood has given us some real life goals. From fighting against tyrants for parents to heart breaks to everything you have pictured for your life has been pretty much lifted off Bollywood lives. Today, we take a look at ten Bollywood parents we absolutely do NOT want for real life parents.

1. Baldev Singh from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge

I get sanskar and I get following your parent’s rules, but this dude pushed the whole thing just a bit too much. I would rather shoot him, shoot myself, come back to life and then maybe ask for permission to go on a holiday.

2. Sam from Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna

Sam is the Indian version of Regina’s mom from Mean Girls. Basically, the over top antiques of a pretentiously cool dad is sure to embarrass us. Right?

3. Rahul Khanna from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Granted, kid Anjali wanted him to meet adult Anjali. But do you want your dad to turn up at your cool summer camp just because you caught a cold? So mortifying.

4. Virus from 3 Idiots

This dude is weird. I mean, his son committed suicide because he couldn’t cope with the engineering life. Viru gave zero shits about this. Really now. What’s wrong with him?

5. Dharamvir Malhotra from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge

Yeah I know I’ve mentioned this movie before. But come on. This movie had quite a lot of messed up things in it. How far removed from raising this child must you be to have made him a stalker, a failure, and a ridiculously spoiled brat?

6. Mrs. Bhamra from Bend It Like Beckham.
Moms are meant to be the ones having our backs but no. Come the right age and shaadi time matlabshaadi time. This mom firmly believes that a woman is “feminine” only if she knows how to make dal, chawaland roti, and wear a sari.
7. The Kapoors from Kapoor and Sons
Mr. and Mrs. Kapoor were the worst kind of parents. The father had an affair and the mother gave the elder son a book written by the younger son. How cruelly horrible is that? I do not want parents like this for sure!
8. Kamal form Dil Dadhakne Do
“Plane Chahiye Ki Nai Tumhe?” This is the bribe Anil Kapoor offers his son. Get married, save my business and you will get your plane in return. Um. No. Thanks but no thanks “dad.”
Weird isn’t even the word that comes to mind when I look at these parents. It seems like our filmmakers have forgotten how their parents were and thought oh. Let’s romanticise things and screw up everyone else’s life! Mission accomplished guys!
