“You know what Mr. Vadia? There are no bad students. Only bad teachers.” This seems to be the recurring theme for the just dropped trailer of Rani Mukerji’s come back movie Hichki. The trailer is unique, beautiful and heart warming in every way. Rani plays the lead as Naina Mathur, who believes that she was born to be a teacher by profession.
The only problem? She has a problem – Tourettes Syndrome. A teacher with a speech defect. How would that work? Especially in a country like ours where strong speech is a necessary precursor for getting through to a roomful of unruly and rowdy students.

After a long struggle and a lengthy number of interviews, Rani finally gets a teaching job where she is given 14 students from an underprivileged background. These 14 children are enrolled in an “elite school, thanks to Right to Education. Naina’s “chuck chuck” sound throughout the trailer is endearingly funny and adorable in every way.
Co produced by Maneesh Sharma and YRF, Hichki marks Rani’s big comeback after her child. Since this movie is produced by Yash Raj Films, this movie will be linked to Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai. Directed by Sidharth P. Malhotra, the shoot for Hichki began on 1 April, 2017 and is slated to hit the silver screens on 23 February, 2018!
