Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan, continue to spend quality time together though they are divorced. The ex-couple are seen here celebrating Arbaaz’s 50th birthday joined by Amrita Arora and her husband Shakil Ladak.
Malaika took to Instagram to share a loving birthday wish for her ex-husband Arbaaz. She wrote, “Happy bdayyyyy arbaaz….happiness always. A tarbooz for arbooz ….happy 50 arbaaz happinesssss always @arbaazkhanofficial.”
Malaika was in the news recently as she was accused her of divorcing her husband for a huge alimony. Malaika, was not able to control her emotions after reading the troll and had replied to it saying, “I do not indulge in such conversation coz it’s below my dignity, but I just had to coz u certainly got to get your damn facts right before spewing n slagging me off when u know nothing about me. Except sit and pass judgment on other people’s lives, I seriously suggest you find something to do with ur time coz you clearly have nothing better to do in life.”
Even though after all this has happened, it is indeed a heartwarming moment to see Malaika and Arbaaz share this special relationship together.
Kangana Ranaut’s Journey In Bollywood: From Then To Now
Kangana Ranaut, an actress who rose from the dust of controversies, became a force to be reckoned with when she showed her competition she can stand alone despite the muck thrown at her. When she was discovered at a coffee shop by Vikas Bahl, little did the world of Bollywood know a starlet was going to be born soon. From the very first movie she acted in to the multiple characters she played through the roles, Ranaut’s journey has been extremely inspiring. Check out her growth from Gangster to Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi!
When Kangana entered the world of Bollywood by playing the lead actress, everyone was taken over by her brilliant acting skills and by the way she captivated the audience. A surprising choice of film for her debut, Kangana proved she was in the industry to stay and using this movie as her stepping stone, Ranaut started soaring!
2. Life In A Metro
This particular film saw a change in Kangana’s character. For a lot of people, it was quite surprising to see the jump from bold to quiet. Playing the role of a secretary in love with her married boss, Kangana’s quiet character was quite the new spin. In fact, this film saw a brand new side to Ranaut, making people realise there were several more layers to her than what met the eye.
After two massive success (Gangster and Life In A Metro,) Kangana’s next film (Shakalaka Boom Boom) was a disappointment. While not many thought she could bounce back after a flop like this, Ranaut proved everyone wrong with her brilliant performance in Fashion. Known as the movie that turned around her career, Fashion gave Kangana the much needed wings. Not only did she play the character really well, she won several awards to reinforce this fact.
4. Raaz: The Mystery Continues
Playing the role of a super model in a horror movie is not an easy task, but Kangana Ranaut did the unimaginable at this task by playing this role to perfection in Raaz: The Mystery Continues. This time, however, her character is possessed by a ghost and Ranaut, true to her style, plays the role really well! Incidentally, this film marked Kangana’s definite growth as an actress in the industry!
5. Tanu Weds Manu
After a series of semi serious films, Kangana Ranaut made her foray into the world of romantic movies with Tanu Weds Manu. A girl used to doing whatever she wants to all her life, Tanu (Kangana Ranaut) is faced with a serious life changing choice when she falls in love with Manu (Madhavan.) This was perhaps one of the best performances by Ranaut and clinched her position as a serious actress in the industry.
6. Krrish 3
Despite Tanu Weds Manu being such a massive success, the next couple of films went on to become box office disasters. Not surprisingly, Ranaut jumped back into the game with Krrish 3. One of her first films to cross the Rs. 100 crores mark, this film changed the course of Ranaut’s career!
Despite Krrish 3 becoming such a success, the actress’s career was slightly derailed because of the multiple controversies which came to light shortly after the movie hit the screens. The first was her alleged affair with Hrithik Roshan, her Krrish 3 co star, while the other major scandal was her calling out all the major stars and directors for everything they supposedly did wrong in the industry.
With all the controversies surrounding Ranaut, what she needed was a turning point in her career. This breakthrough came in the form of Queen, which put Kangana Ranaut on the map of really great actresses. All the controversies from the past surrounding Ranaut were overshadowed by her wonderful performance in this film. Playing the role of a girl who discovers herself after being left at the altar, Ranaut proved to everyone that to love yourself, you do not need a man or acceptance from the society. Doing great things comes from within and this movie showed just that! In fact, so great was her acting in it, she made sure the film became a cult changer!
8. Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi
Not only will she play the role of the legendary warrior Rani Lakshmi Bai in this film, Kangana Ranaut will don the hat of a director for the first time in her impressive career. Proving to everyone she can really do everything at the same time, it is really going to be interesting to see how she pulls off this particular character. Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is all set to hit the screens next year, so stay tuned for a really great film!
Despite Kangana Ranaut having such a successful career, her life has been quite riddled with controversies. However, despite all the backlash she received, Ranaut has always bounced back with more going on for her than ever! An inspiring story that puts her on the map, it is indeed refreshing to see a young girl enter the Bollywood world with no connections or family names to fall back upon. If you think we missed out on mentioning any other Kangana Ranaut films, comment and let us know!
Amitabh Bachchan Movies That Need To Be Made Again
Amitabh Bachchan was perhaps the man behind redefining Hindi cinema. From redefining the way people looked at actors to the way he captivated the audience through his brilliant acting, Big B is most certainly the man who made Indian cinema what it is today. From Sholay to Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Ghum to Pink, Amitabh Bachchan has more than proved his worth not just as an actor but a man who stood on a platform of his own. Check out some of the most iconic performances by this great man here.
With his larger than life personality and oozing with charisma like never before, Amitabh Bachchan burned the screen with his brilliant acting in Hum! Playing the role of Rajnikanth’s and Govinda’s brother in this multi starrer movie, Big B definitely made his presence felt in this Mukul Anand directorial. If this movie was to be remade, no one else can even think of being compared to the brilliant cast this Mukul Anand film had!
2. Muqaddar Ka Sikander
In this filmy version of Devdas, Amitabh Bachchan proved his worth as one of the finest actors in the Bollywood industry. Standing his ground next to a talented star like Vinod Khanna, Big B made it be known that he was not just a good looking man but a really talented actor as well!
Amitabh Bachchan delivered one of his best performances in his career in this Hrishikesh Mukherji directorial. Playing the role of an insecure husband constantly overshadowed by his extremely talented wife, Big B portrays what every man in this position feels like with flawless ease. No other actor could have played this role as well as Amitabh Bachchan did!
Perhaps one of the best films made by Yash Chopra, Silsila was one of the most romantic films Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha acted in together. A star studded film, this movie laid the foundation of a beautiful chemistry between Rekha and Big B, with Sanjeev Kumar essaying his role to a level of perfection like never before! Definitely a film that needs to be remade, hopefully with the same cast if possible!
How many people can play a man suffering from indigestion and constipation as well as Amitabh? Not many, right? Right! With a host of different personalities to his character, Senior Bachchan pulled off the role of an over bearing father with extreme ease and perfection. On the other hand, Piku cannot be described as a movie with bowel and constipation issues. It is about breaking from the conventional norms of story telling and exploring family dynamics in a new light, with Big B forming the central character of the film!
While there have been several versions of Don, the original Amitabh Bachchan film can never be remade, with this version always remaining as one of the most classic films made to date. With snazzy one liners and a spectacular double role performance by Big B, the original Don deserves a place on the best Bollywood films to date and has to immortalised in the forever changing sands of time.
Not many could have dreamed of playing second fiddle to Rajesh Khanna and still get noticed. However, Amitabh Bachchan did the unthinkable and managed to get noticed despite being paired opposite such an impressive actor. While Big B turned his act around and got noticed for his acting skills, Anand was also the movie which was credited as the turning point in his career.
Before doing Zanjeer, Amitabh Bachchan was known for his family dramas and sensitive roles. However, this film showed the serious side to this quick growing actor and was responsible for Amitabh Bachchan’s nickname as the Angry Young Man of Bollywood! With anger and depth instilled into every scene of this really well thought out film, Amitabh Bachchan grew into his own.
There have been so many movies Big B has been a part of that were thought to be really great. However, while we cannot mention them all here, we leave it to you to pick the ones you think are best. Comment and let us know which Big B movie you loved the most and why!
Shocking Bollywood Breakups
When your friends break up, you go through heartache for them because you know they were really adorable together and they helped you believe in true love. However, when a Bollywood couple breaks up, it’s like something in your heart snaps. With the world being all about social media now, Bollywood relationships are brought to the fore like never before. From their first kiss to their first date to their anniversaries, everything is chronicled with very graphic details. The same is done for when these couples break up and when you look at how couples like John Abraham and Bipasha Basu used to be like or at how Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor used to be gaga over each other, you wonder what went wrong. Here’s taking a look at couples who when they broke up, left us with gaping holes in the place where our hearts used to be.
1. Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan
Remember when Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan came on Koffee With Karan and talked about how each of them had played a significant role in the other’s growth? When you saw that particular episode, did it not want you to believe they would someday end up on the altar, with a big ring on Kareena’s finger? Unfortunately, these words and happy thoughts were short lived. Soon after the episode, the two had a very public break up, breaking not just each other’s hearts, but ours as well!
2. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone
Both of them were perhaps the hottest couple in Bollywood when they were dating. When they were seeing each other in the year 2007, everyone thought they were perfect for each other. Every time they were in public, they looked like they were the only ones in the room and that no one else mattered. However, when they broke up, the ugly truth about their relationship came to light. In fact, what was all the more heartbreaking here was that Ranbir came out and told the press he had cheated on Deepika multiple times and that their relationship was a facade. Now if that isn’t cruel, I do not know what else is!
3. John Abraham and Bipasha Basu
He was the hunk everyone wanted a piece of and she was at the peak of her career. When John Abraham and Bipasha Basu were together, their love seemed invincible. When they got together on the sets of Jism in the year 2003, everybody around them thought their union would turn into marriage. However, things were not as perfect as they seemed and the couple parted ways amidst a lot of public furor a decade later. If they had gotten married, imagine how ridiculously good looking their babies would be!
4. Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan
While Bollywood may have seen more than its fair share of married couples drift apart, perhaps the one failed marriage which stung the most was the split between Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan. Despite being married for so long (and blessed with two adorable sons,) the two undeniably good looking people decided to end their relationship. Although the rumours for their split are widespread and many, the real reason has still been kept under wraps. Thankfully, unlike the other divorces and break ups, Hrithik and Sussanne have managed to keep a civil presence when it comes to their public appearances.
5. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif
Ranbir Kapoor, the infamous breaker of hearts, has been the center of more than one bad public break up. When he got together with Katrina Kaif, fans all over thought this relationship would definitely end in a happily forever after. However, despite moving in together and attempting to start a life in that direction, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif parted ways, without really giving people a reason about why they split up. Now, according to the rumour mill, Ranbir Kapoor is dating Alia Bhatt, someone who is Katrina Kaif’s best friend!
6. Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh
She was new to the industry and he had just started making his presence felt in the world of Bollywood. Remember Band Baaja Baaraat and the amazing chemistry Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma shared on screen? While their chemistry was enough to set the screen on fire, it wasn’t enough to keep their off screen romance alive. Now, Ranveer is rumoured to be tying the knot with Deepika Padukone very soon while Anushka Sharma is spending her happily forever after with Virat Kohli! Quite a turn of events, no?
Which couple do you think should have stayed together through the good times and the bad ones? Comment and let us know!

P. Jairaj earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records for having the longest career in Bollywood. When P. To say that our stars are cool is definitely an understatement, right? If you think we missed out on any celebrities who broke other similar records, comment and let us know!
Bollywood Films On Business And Entrepreneurship
While Hollywood has made several movies on how to be happy, how to be hard working and how to get your entrepreneur game on point, Bollywood has also done films on the entrepreneurial side of life as well! From Rocket Singh to Band Baaja Baaraat, these movies explore the passion, the grit and the effort the main characters put into making their dreams come true!
Manzil, starring Amitabh Bachchan (Ajay Chandra) in the lead role, is perhaps one of the most poignant films an aspiring entrepreneur can watch. Mapping the journey of Ajay’s rise to and fall from success, Manzil dealt with how a businessman overcomes failure and debt. The film teaches one to be strong no matter what the circumstances and situations are. Furthermore, it also tells you failure is not the be all, but is actually the stepping stone to success!
2. Rocket Singh
Starring Ranbir Kapoor (Harpreet Singh) and Gauhar Khan in the lead roles, Rocket Singh was quite an interesting story. Despite being a college dropout, Harpreet Singh gets a sales job and starts learning the ropes of the business. However, while he does not make it big even working hard, he realises his passion lies somewhere else. Rocket Singh teaches one a lot. From understanding how one works as a leader to understanding letting go of things helps you grow, this film is a definite must watch for entrepreneurs!
3. Band Baaja Baaraat
When Band Baaja Baaraat released, it made everyone want to open their own wedding company. However, what they did not want to learn from the film was one very important lesson: do not ever mix business with pleasure! Furthermore, another important lesson to learn from Band Baaja Baaraat is that to get ahead in business, you cannot work alone, but have to be a team player! Band Baaja Baaraat teaches one the importance of dreaming, working hard and living by the book of unwritten rules!
Swades brought to the fore the troubles faced by the people at the grass root levels of the Indian economy. One of the main messages Swades addresses is, the strength of the country lies with the people, not just with people belonging to the higher strata of society, but people belonging to the lower rungs as well! The movie shows one it is extremely vital to stick to your roots and to never forget who you are, where you come from and where you belong!
Based on Dhirubhai Ambani, the founding father of one of the Ambani Family, Guru was a Mani Ratnam masterpiece! One of the major lessons entrepreneurs can learn from this film is, one should never lose hope, whatever the situation and whatever you are going through in life.
