Priyanka Chopra All Set To Produce A Sikkimese-Nepali Film

Priyanka Chopra produced her first Marathi film “Ventilator,” and Bhojpuri film- “Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi.” Priyanka Chopra’s third regional release was, “Sarvann,” a Punjabi film, which features Ranjit Bawa, Amrinder Gill, and Simi Chahal. This Punjabi film was directed by hit maker Karaan Guliani and is gearing up to release next week. The film revolves around a young NRI tracing his roots back to India. The film has a special shabad — a Sikh bhajan sung by PeeCee’s late father, Dr. Ashok Chopra.

The Nepali film which the actress is producing will revolve around two young children who get separated from their parents at the time of disturbance at the Indian border. The actress along with her mom are roping in local talent from Nepal and Sikkim. The actress said “I had always wanted to produce films and in 2014, we kicked off our regional film slate. But when “Quantico” was extended to a full season, my mom became my eyes on the ground. I’ll definitely produce Hindi films soon and want to collaborate with a few filmmakers.”

At present, the actress is all set to attend the 74th Golden Globe Awards on January 8 and will be flying soon to Los Angeles. The actress who makes her Hollywood debut with “Baywatch” this summer is one of the presenters at the show, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Drew Barrymore, Laura Dern, Nicole Kidman, Viola Davis and Mandy Moore.
