Bollywood Love Stories Which Made You Go Aww!

Bollywood loves action, drama, horror and sci fi. However, the romantic comedies and deliberately cheesy movies always make our hearts beat faster. For those who want to binge watch on the classic favourites, these movies are perfect!
1. Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani
It is not always when a Bollywood film touches your heart, while becoming a commercial success at the same time. While Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani had all the trappings of a typical Bollywood rom com, the underlying elements made us all fall in love with the movie. The film captures our struggles for love, acceptance, flight, fight and emotional trauma perfectly, making Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani an extremely endearing watch.
2. Band Baaja Baarat
The first half of this movie was all about sense and the smart choices you need to make in life. However, when cupid strikes, logic is thrown out of the window. With “Bread Pakore Ki Kasam” and a promise of “Happily ever after,” Band Baaja Baarat has everything you could want when things do not go the way you want.
3. Jab We Met
Jab We Met perhaps one of the best movies directed by Imtiaz Ali and redefined love and romance completely.
4. Hum Tum
Hum Tum took the gender battle to a whole new level. Despite falling in love with each other through a complete act of fate, the leads just do not forget each other. Even 7 years after being apart, they manage to find their way back. Saif’s impeccable comic timing and Rani Mukerji’s brilliant performance make Hum Tum arguably the best Bollywood romcom ever.
5. Kal Ho Na Ho
Despite releasing over 15 years ago, Kal Ho Na Ho still remains one of the best romantic comedies in Bollywood. SRK, Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan deliver some award worthy performances in this film. When they are funny, you cannot stop rolling on the floor laughing; when they’re romantic, they make you want to fall in love; and when they’re tragic, man, keep the box of tissues ready. Kal Ho Na Ho is one emotional rollercoaster.
